Lynn at Via Studio, Sandwick, is now offering places in her after school workshops specialising in Communication, Language and Literacy in Education for 4 to 11 year olds at Via Studio, Sandwick, and other Orkney venues.

Lynn, who has an MA in English and Drama from Glasgow University, has been working in Communication Arts in Education with children and adults for more than 25 years.

She is an active member of the Orkney storytelling community whose Peatfire Tales Evenings enchant visitors throughout the year.

Lynn's Expressive Arts After School Workshops provide programmes exploring drama, storytelling and creative movement as a tool for language, literacy and communication development.

  • 4-6 years - STEPPING STONES - developing communication, social interaction and language through storytelling, creative movement and puppetry.

  • 7- 11 years - DISCOVERY - exploring the imagination, language and communication through drama, mime, story and body rhythm.
